The Warners are back in Waco! We drove to Julia and Kaleb's house on Saturday. I really enjoyed visiting Kalup and Hoolia. Julia and I stayed up all night talking. Their little Ethan is so cute and sweet. He let me hold him quite a bit and I even got to babysit him once. Then we left their house on Monday morning about 8am and drove straight through to Waco. That was the first time I'd ever driven 20 hours in a row with 2 kids in the car. It wasn't too bad. We stopped and ate at Pizza Hut and had a good time watching movies the whole way. Our truck was waiting for us at the Brown's house when we arrived in Waco last night at 3:30am. Unfortunately, most of the transmission fluid had leaked onto Bryan and Karin's driveway. So now it's in the shop.
We went to check out our new place this morning. It stinks a little, but it is a little bigger than our duplex in Robinson, has a fireplace, is closer to everything, and has a fenced back yard. Overall, it is a great place to live for the last year of law school. We're pleased with it but we won't get our keys until 2pm tomorrow. We didn't plan to drive straight through yesterday so that is why we won't have our keys on time. It is a good thing we didn't stop at hotel because now we can use our hotel money to fix the truck!
Janel and I are really glad that Bryan and Karin are letting us stay at their house. It is so comfortable and clean. What friends!
Everyone is taking a nap, I'd better go join them.
