Wipeout
The sad thing about this photo is that Amanda is on my lap. She did not have fun.
Sometimes I wish pictures came with sound bites, because I feel that there were a couple of girlie screams erupting from the epicenter of that wipeout.
I didn't mind the girlish screaming so much as his incessant whimpering and crying after we crashed. I kept telling him, "It's just snow, Dad. You're fine." But he kept going on and on about how it got in his nose and ruined his outfit, and he wasn't supposed to get wet. Next time I'll ask Uncle Elden for a ride.

I remember clutching Leah to my chest and executing a somersault to protect her during a sledding incident once. No film or sound on it, though...
