So I played city-league basketball a couple of summers ago in the Garlic Capital of the World. I didn't know that my performances were being published until I googled myself today. I definitely would have played harder if I had known.
Two excerpts from the Gilroy Dispatch:
"Beale Properties finished second at 4-2 with a 47-46 squeaker over Cordevalle. Nick Possley and Shawn Teacher each scored 16 points for Beale. Birt Bigelow scored the deciding two free throws with 12 seconds to play. David "Garlic Boy" Warner worked inside for 12 points, Bobby Martin outside for 10 for Cordevalle (3-3)."
"Brent Torres hit for 19 points Wednesday as Cordevalle opened the Men's D League second half with a 67-58 decision over Pizza N Stuff. David "Garlic Boy" Warner followed with 16 points, Daniel Crowe 15 for the Duffers. Miguel Gilliard managed 23 points, Donte Fullard 20 for Pizza N Stuff."
I had no idea I was so famous. Crazy!

12 and 16 points? C'mon. For someone seven feet nine inches tall, shouldn't you have more than that? How much you wanna make a bet you could make a basket over them mountains?
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself Garlic Boy. If you are going to lie you should at least use higher numbers. And assuming that you did score that many points, it was probably a girl's league or when you played center in the Special Olympics.
I forgot to mention that I'm autistic.
Neato. I seen that guy play.
