Moving On
I took a job with a small law firm in Colorado Springs so we will be moving there on October 20th. I'm sure we'll miss our friends and family in Texas but we're very excited about the opportunity.
I think I have in-laws in CO springs, but, uh, we're not close. No one acknowledged our wedding on that side. Egg their house, come to think of it. My feelings were hurt.
"I guess I kinda lost control, because in the middle of the play I ran up and lit the evil puppet villain on fire. No, I didn't. Just kidding. I just said that to help illustrate one of the human emotions, which is freaking out. Another emotion is greed, as when you kill someone for money, or something like that. Another emotion is generosity, as when you pay someone double what he paid for his stupid puppet."
I could have used a lawyer then. Can't wait, bubba.
Thanks for moving here. I was beginning to feel both tall and skinny, and clearly need to be put in my place. Your lanky build should skew the state averages enough to restore my self loathing and feelings of inadequacy.
Mrs. Hoss is also excited to hear the news. We're back home, so give us a call. Sorry if you tried last week. Our connection was spotty at best.
Here, here, Bruno! That squirrel bit was rousing! I've never seen a black squirrel. Perhaps they only come out at night, and with their new-found fortitude are venturing their brazen escapades in broad daylight!
AH...Garden of the Gods....What a beautiful place! I'm so glad your awesome family is moving to the Springs. Now I really have a great excuse to visit such a cool city!
